2. I have no idea what the historical stats are, but Kane’s penalty hattrick has to be pretty rare. I started to wonder if he had prepared enough penalties before the match when he was walking up to take the third one, but the man really is a PK machine.

4. Just a small reminder that apart from Olise every single of the 16 players we fielded yesterday was also part of last years squad.

   Kompany really managed to form something special in this 2-3 months, we haven’t been this fun to watch in ages and can’t remember the last time our play with this fluid.

   Really makes you wonder when clubs will start to pay insane sums for managers.

5. Last time we won 9:2 was against Hamburg in the 12/13 season. And we know how that one ended. I’m trusting the stats on this one.

6. We started strong and build up a momentum that can help us get through this game marathon that is ahead of us. Big shoutouts to Kompany and his team. Team seems hungry and highly motivated. I am unhappy like everyone else about the first minutes of the 2nd halves vs Dinamo and earlier vs Wolfsburg, but mentality is there and we showed proper reaction on conceded goals. The fact that after 9th goal team was still trying to score 10th really sends a message.
