Council have put up temporary traffic lights whilst they fix the pedestrian crossing. The temporary ones are always red.

A bit of entertainment whilst I WFH at least. So far I've had a Ford Fiesta wait for about three minutes before the inevitable honking from behind them was too much to not gradually roll over the line.
Leamington Spa? Architecture (if not road name) gives it away.
You’re doxxing yourself.
When cycling l find it entertaining to see just how long some people will wait at a broken light.
When driving l find myself shouting at them with the windows closed.
[https://theorytest.org.uk/highway-code-rule-176/](https://theorytest.org.uk/highway-code-rule-176/)There’s one near me, but each light is around a corner so you can’t see oncoming traffic. Makes things interesting.
Update: Police arrived and restored public order.
Task failed successfuly
Happens a lot near me (they perpetually like digging trenches in the road for utilities and never co-ordinaye)
There’s a phone number on the works and a work ID to ring. They get someone out within a few hours.
Had to stand in the road directing traffic once because there was so many queues.
Turns out a lot of people will literally drive at you…
I’ve had to go through red temporary traffic lights quite a few times, the sensors don’t always pick up motorcycles.
Used to happen all the time near me. First time I waited about a minute then went. Proper rebel me.
Why didn’t you report it to the Council?
They put up lights near me for a hole in the pavement and left them there for 2 days so far I’m pretty sure councils have their hand in the pot for traffic lights.
