  1. I absolutely loved it. Can’t really remember any stories, just the concept.

  2. Oh god. I forgot this existed but as soon as I saw it I remembered the theme song.

  3. I always enjoyed that they were all rejects for a specific reason, and one of those reasons was being French

  4. This show slaps, I can still sing the theme tune word perfect to this day.

  5. Didn’t even need the sound on, I was singing the theme as soon as I saw it 😅

  6. Absolutely loved it! It was so good and the theme tune is great

  7. I’ve never watched it. I’d never even heard of it.

But somehow the theme tune has got into my kids’ rotation of songs they choose on Alexa.

  8. So often this sub unlocks memories. This another such occasion. That theme tune was catchy.

  9. Didn’t look familiar at all up until the reject bin appeared. Yes, I did watch this as a child. Don’t remember anything about it, though.

  10. I still have Back to front in the attic! Loved them. I thought the theme tune was better than that though.

  11. I vaguely remember this. Looks like it went off-air when I was 5

  12. Toy Story….an original! Don’t think so buddy.

  13. 90s kid here and I used to watch this … blast from the past

  14. I am a Raggy doll for life, I never fit in as a kid and I love doing my own things today…I just have some awesome raggu doll friends to do it with now.

  15. Aww I loved this. My dad said I was forever watching it.

  16. Raggy Dolls was the reason I got a spank from my gran. She was babysitting me, and I happened to say ‘sacre bleu!’, which the French raggy doll, Claude, used to say a lot. Well my dear old French born grandmother was most offended and walloped the back of my legs, without a single explanation!

It was only later when I got picked up and my mum was told what happened that it was explained to me I said something I shouldn’t have, and even then it was days before my mum heard it for herself that I was forgiven.

Still though, its a banging theme song. Right up there with Bertha, Poddington Peas, and Charlie Chalk.

  17. They called the manic depressive Sadsack. No wonder the poor bastard could never get it together.

  18. Like others have said I didn’t until I started watching, I remember the doll on the left vividly and he’s called sad sack.

Tv show theme songs were so good back then.
