  1. Fun fact: the tumbleweed, staple of the American West and prop for desolation, is a thistle from Russia.

  2. The Jill Stein is a remarkable weed with a unique life cycle. Its completely dormant for most of four years. Suddenly, coming seemingly out of nowhere, it sprouts and spreads for about 6 month, becoming an incredible nuisance in the process

  3. If the Green Party was trying to seriously move the country to the left, they would:

    * Spearhead ballot initiatives to institute ranked-choice voting.
    * Spearhead ballot initiatives to reduce fossil fuel use and institute other left-wing policy.
    * Field candidates in races where the electorate is super far to the left, so Republicans don’t have a chance of winning anyways, and the Green Party candidate actually has a chance.

If the Green Party was just trying to act as spoilers and help Republicans win, they would:

    * Field candidates in close partisan races where they have zero chance of winning.

And what does the Green Party do?

  4. Okay. I didn’t know this was the political humor sub at first so I legit thought I was just looking at a post about Russian plant species and when I saw her I laughed out loud at work.

  5. She claims to be “Green” and “against genocide” but her stock portfolio has investments in Big Oil companies and weapons manufacturers. Selling out your morals for money is quite a common theme among people who claim to want to change the status quo…
