The [Come Back Alive Foundation](https://www.facebook.com/share/DQvPPKDsZGkKHNBa/?mibextid=qi2Omg) has helped this unit with over 10 million hryvnias ($240,000) in aid donated mainly by Ukrainians but also by many people around the world. If you want to help the work of anti-aircraft defenses, consider learning more about the work of this institution and helping Ukrainians in this
This is why Ukraine needs more air defence to stop these drones before they can hit Ukrainian cities. Good to see the Gepards finally have ammo after the Swiss originally blocked shipments.
Thank you sincerely Germany

Thatโs a cost effective way to deal with relatively cheap drones. A Patriot missile is very expensive.
Did they connect a weather station to the Gepard ???
Very effective
You know, somewhere in Germany there is someone who helped design this in the 1980s whose proud son or daughter looking at their Dad’s creation and feeling a wonderful sense of vindication that it’s having its day – 40 years later.
I like the Wop wop wop wooooo.
Cost effective solution.
This likely saved at least 1 child from dying at the hands of the Russian terrorist state. Great work.
Interesting info about this tank here:
# Why Russo-Iranian Kamikaze Drones Can Not Pass Gepard?
Whats that, maybe 6 shots? Really impressedย by the efficiencyย of such an old vehicle. Crazy how we were in the process of getting rid of functional technologyย like this.
I’m so proud to see such great German engineering put to good use, protecting the lives of Ukrainian people. Slava Ukraini! May Putin rot in hell.
Imagine what a modern version of this gun can do
seems like they meanwhile have found trust in the weapon’s accuracy, and/or can operate it better. Early videos showed them firing 4-5 salvos before the first one could even reach the target, that was just a waste of ammo, but probably what they were used to from a Shilka or ZU-23.
That cheer sounds like a Ukranian version of “fuck yea!”. Love it!
And Gepard said “Thou shalt not pass”
This is like mad max scene. Great weapon. Thank you Germany.
i like how the targeting radar turns around once it’s mission is done
Barely opened fire and hit it. Build more – we have seen what drone warfare looks like and this is the effective weapon against it

The targeting system looks rly cool – I would like to see alot more videos of this
Great shot but the impact was too close for comfort.
I wonder why they haven’t restarted production of this beast. Bang for the buck to counter drone strikes.
Aaaaaaah my Tax Money well spent! I like
Wow, it doesn’t waste much ammo, does it?
WOW.
BEAUTIFUL!
THAT’s a seriously awesome piece of German military equipment.
I hope Germany was able to send Ukraine a bunch of these to help defend against the Russian long-range strike attempts.
