  2. Yesterday, the Federal Reserve made its first rate cut since March 2020, reducing it by half a percentage point to a target range of 4.75%–5%.

    The range had been unchanged since July 2023, when it was set at 5.25%–5.50%.

  3. “First rate cut in 4 years” sounds extreme until you remember we had like 0% fed rate for 2 years.
