  1. Some people will tell you that there is no hate for trans people. That they are just worried for the the kids

Those are the same people who will tell you that there is no raciscm, classism or other bigotry

  2. I love how they pass these laws to “protect the children” while still allowing the Catholic Church to exist.

  3. This is incredibly saddening. Our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ deserve so much better. My heart breaks for them today.

  4. How many openly famous trans people Georgia has? One of them getting murdered so brazenly is dark and grim sign for human rights in that country.

  5. I hope the Georgia government gets kicked out and leans towards Europe instead of Russia.

  6. I know reddit likes jump on conclusions, but Kesaria was NOT killed because of the law. She was killed by her boyfriend who was in relationship for years. He killed him because he wanted to keep it a secret, but it got leaked on instagram photo. In fact this case is a FEMICIDE in court, which means that Kesaria is regarded as a female that got killed. This is a terrible headline that only works in interests of Russia. Looking at the comments, you guys are so easily manipulated to shun whole nation without having an idea of what’s happening.

  7. $20 says this wasn’t a hate crime and was their partner. These stories pop up occasionally and it’s always their partner.

  8. Everyone talking about how backwards or hateful the Georgian people are completely forget that the west completely failed them during the Russian invasion. The Georgia we see today is a monument to our leaders failures. I hope we don’t fail the Ukrainians as well.
