This is dumb. It’s going to be a difficult transition but starting and stopping (only to inevitably have to start again a few years later) just makes the process even more painful. It’s like the ICE vehicle cutoff date. Just stick to the plan!
Note that that is a Scottish proposal. There’s no such proposal for England and Wales.
I can see both sides. I love a log burner and see their uses, but they are really bad for air pollution in urban areas. I had the chance to put one in my house but opted against.
