  1. better idea. tell australia to keep the old tanks since they are in good condition to do nothing and send ukraine the new tanks since they will actually be used.

  2. >59 M1A1 Abrams tanks that were written off in July this year, purchased from the United States in 2004

    >Ukraine has submitted a request twice, the first time in May 2023. Ukraine asked for the transfer of 14 … Australian government effectively rejected the request.

edit: Looks like Australia just recently received 27 of their new Abrams, so easier to let go of the old ones.

  3. After stripped of spare parts, an old Abrams can be used as a decoy to lure in a few lancets.

  4. I guess more is more, but I question how effective they are in this conflict. These are big, loud, slow, massive heat signatures. Kind of makes them easy to not only hear, but spot with thermals.

The Bradleys and strykers on the other hand, seem to be putting in work. At least from the outside looking in. Who really knows?

  5. I love – and simultaneously – hate/love the useless things you see here.

This is good and just another boost. – remember; “the West” whispers, while the easy screams.

They or them are bullies – they understand 1 language and we’re starting to get there.

    I’m hopeful. đŸ™‚
