Estonia Drops Defense, Prepares to Strike Russia First | Russia Ukraine War News | Times Now World

In a dramatic shift from its traditional defense posture, Estonia’s General Vahur Karus announced that the Baltic nation is prepared to launch strikes against Russian territory if Moscow shows signs of aggression toward NATO. In an exclusive interview, General Karus emphasized the importance of preemptive action, stating that “waiting to be attacked first is no longer an option.” As concerns over Russian intentions grow, Estonia is rethinking its military strategy, integrating closely with NATO allies to enhance its readiness. Russian President Vladimir Putin has responded sharply, warning that any use of Western-supplied missiles by Ukraine against Russian targets could escalate the conflict and directly involve NATO. This unfolding situation highlights the fragile security dynamics in Eastern Europe, raising the stakes for both Estonia and NATO as tensions with Russia continue to mount.

  1. Estonia, like all Baltic countries, was part of the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union is gone, there is only Russia, a modern rich country, and instead of having good relations with its large rich neighbor, Estonia, like all Baltic countries, turned to the West which is on the verge of collapse, not only morally, but also economically, politically and militarily. That is why they will go down together with their beloved West.

  2. Estonia think they can annihilate and neutralise Russia? If NATO gets involved directly, it will be the end for them. They don't have the resources to handle Russia, China, and North Korea.๐Ÿ˜‚
