It’s probably total bs, I haven’t heard it. I will say everyone does it, mostly unintentionally. I talked to an Australian guy once, and I used to do accents for fun. I kept accidentally slipping into it. He thought that shit was hilarious.
I mean they would promote a Klingon if it had the magic R next to their name.
If you say Kamala has a “slight” accent, what do you call Melania’s?
I taught English as a Second Language for decades. When she speaks, I hear only an American accent.
But she’s reasonable, so no wonder MAGAs can’t understand her.
Trump as a native speaker graduated from Ivy league is speaking piss poor English. I know more fluent speanking immigrants than him.
