So basically I was playing around with it and turned it off and no more hot water. Not familiar at all with this type of heating

Why the fuck would you play around with it when you don’t understand how it works?
Are those instructions on the left. hand side? I’m guessing it’s a standard gass heating geyser. You need to ignite it first before it heats.
Looks pretty similar to the one I have. Keep the slider on the second stage, hold the button on the slider down to release the gas (you should be able to hear it). Simultaneously hold the right button to ignite. Now you should see a flame though the little window. Keep holding the slider button down for a few seconds and then slide it to the right. If the flame went out, open the windows to ventilate the room and try again after a few minutes. If it doesn’t ignite at all, you can try to do ignite by holding a long lighter or matchstick through the little window if it’s open.
I dont know but do you remember the part you played around with? You could also try to search the name on google and read the instructions.
Or if you dont need warm water you can wait until the next heating maintenance.
