  1. Ha, yeah I posted the same a few months back. Is it one of those pastel coloured flasks? Mine was the smallish food one. I was told it was the outer coating that wasn’t dishwasher safe.

  2. That’s confusing, at least it’s leak proof when closed.

  3. We have a baking tray that’s “dishwasher safe” but you can’t use dishwasher tablets to wash it?

  4. I think that this is illegal*

  5. Looks like it won’t be damaged by a dishwasher, but also is warning that it may not be cleaned correctly due to it’s shape.

  6. Their website faq also says ‘most of our products are top rack dishwasher safe, but we still recommend washing them by hand’.

  7. I have a thermos travel cup and can confirm the paint is not dishwasher safe.

  8. The screw cup may be… I wouldn’t chance it. I’ll stick to handwashing.

  9. I’d probably be content to just hot-rinse a thermos flask tbh, unless you were putting soup in it or something

  10. something to send to thermos or post on their FB page perhaps?

  11. Just keep hold of that label and put it in the dishwasher at every opportunity, like even if you haven’t used it between putting the dishwasher on again. If it breaks use that to justify getting a replacement. That’s the label you saw when you purchased it not the small print you can only view after purchase.

  12. Ill ask my dishwasher. She’s out getting her nails done at the moment.
