With a phenomenal response from readers and partners, the Brick by Brick campaign has passed an important milestone, The Independent’s editor-in-chief, Geordie Greig, explains in this update.
In the first week, we’ve received enough donations to break ground on the proposed site of Refuge’s safe house for survivors, and their families, of domestic abuse.
