These 18 eggs cost more than a dozen! and i’m told by people that shop at other stores that a dozen eggs can cost more than posted price behind me.

The Inflation Reduction Act passed in August, 2022. Inflation was 8.3% year over year at the time. In August 2023, inflation had dropped to 3.7%. This August, 2.5%. It’s almost like the legislation helped reduce inflation.
