Prince and Princess of Wales Donate £3,500 to Recover Stolen Foodbank Goods

The Prince and Princess of Wales donated £3,500 to Southwark Foodbank after a Sunday burglary.
Thieves had stolen £3,000 worth of food, hygiene products, and a laptop from the site.
The royal couple acted quickly to cover the stolen goods and damage caused.
William and Kate’s support helped replenish stock and restore hope for the food bank.
Their involvement sparked a surge of public donations, quickly refilling the empty shelves.

  8. Princess Catherine could spend that kind of money for herself & children, but both Cambridges feel it is the right thing to donate. Like me, recycling their clothes & shoes will be good enough.   28. Nobody knows what it’s like to have nothing to eat in this day and age. At one stage I didn’t eat for days because I didn’t have the money and I had just lost my job. I am also Diabetic T2 so that got worse. My local food bank in Northern Ireland couldn’t give me enough because they didn’t provide for diabetics so I had to eat what they gave me.
