If Trent wants to be that defender then he has to defend far better.

People can’t decide whether they like Trent at the minute, they’re waiting to see if he extends. If he stays at liverpool he’s overrated can’t defend and a rat. If he leaves he’s mint and the best full back in the world

Klopp probably just told him to not worry about defending and leave that to Konate/Matip/whoever was there.

Waiting for Real vs Liverpool only to see Vini send him to the corner shop as per usual.
I suspect he will end up playing in midfield at Utd under Southgate.
