I was feeling autumnal. Decided to humour myself and try out the M&S brandy. Appalling from the get-go. Their wines on the other hand are halfway decent IMO.

Oh, but it looks so good
And their whiskey in this range is absolute shte too. Avoid.
Buy some clotted cream + mix
If it tastes appalling, just drink more.. you will come around to it
Their tequila is rubbish too, tastes a bit chemically and from memory isn’t even 100% agave. They don’t sell any other brands either!
Doesn’t look like you even opened it
Also don’t buy their smoked salmon. It’s vacuum packed so heavily that it’s impossible to separate the slices, after you’ve opened it.
Nope their wines are not great either
That’ll be the cooking brandy.
Save it to feed your Christmas cake.
Make a Steak Diane with it! I’ve used some of the grotiest Brandy’s before and made them into one hell of a sauce!
Make some sauces with it? Mushroom / peppercorn / cream / brandy is my go to for steak
Looks under age…
You’ll get called a winophile…. Or a weinsteinophile…
Too far??
I’ll just leave…
That looks like cooking brandy
The Bajan Estate rum they sell is fantastic however.
‘Blended in France’ was a warning.
3 year old, no name blend.
That’s for cooking mostly, or drinking … but at the end of the evening after you have had the good stuff.
I bought some last night to use with my beef stroganoff, it’s like a quarter the price of the other brandys
This could be a bluff guys, they may be throwing us off the sent of an exceedingly good brandy!?
I do like buying drinks that have the name of the drink on them though, sign of quality
Own brand blended “finest” brandy will never good for anything besides setting fire to Christmas pudding.

Never buy off-brandy
