Vance’s idea is actually realistic. Zelenskyy’s is either just a call for more war, or he is under the illusion that Ukraine is in a position of strength to negotiate his terms.

If Ukraine is expected to agree not to join nato then that should only be done in exchange for getting territory back. If you give Russia all this Land and force Ukraine not to join nato it just pushes the war off for a few years
