Russia invaded: What will Putin do next?
As the Ukrainian army swept into western Russia in the biggest incursion by enemy forces since the Second World War, locals recorded a frantic video appeal to President Putin.
Ukrainian forces, which analysts say could number up to 10,000 troops, are thought to have advanced 20 miles into Russian territory since the push began. More than 120,000 Russians have been evacuated in scenes of chaos and destruction reminiscent of the terror that Putin’s army has brought to Ukraine in the past two and a half years.
