  1. Is he willing to give up land? That’s the only way this war will end any time soon. The other options are Ukraine folds and lose everything, or NATO step in and push Russia out of Ukraine.

  2. I mean what is the endgame with this statement. I cant see allies pumping out more support if they think ukraine is going to win soon anyway

  3. And how do they plan on pushing Russian forces back to pre 2022 borders? That’s the only valid way for Ukraine to end this war

  4. So much of Ukrainian communication these days seems to be rooted in wishful thinking. Things are getting pretty desperate on the eastern front so I understand the need to try to drum up support but I don’t think anybody’s buying it anymore.

  5. I have started watching the BBC series The Zelensky Story.

Episode 1 is a blinder and very revealing about his younger years were he actually went to Moscow to do a show there, with Putin in the audience.

He made a political joke about Putin who looked visibly awkward.

The first episode takes you up to when he won the election and reveals he decided to run at the beginning of December 2018, but didn’t tell his wife, who found out on New Year’s Eve when his usual NY pre-recorded show was broadcast and she was watching along with him on a skiing trip.

It is available on BBC iPlayer.

  6. i wonder if Zelenksyi is manned up enough to go trough with no territorial loss for my country” or if he is swallowing the bitter pill….

i dont know what i think…i want this suffering to end…but also i want to see russia fail

  7. They infiltrated Putin’s inner-circle, ready to off him?

  8. We are at war already. The list is long:

    * Russia is murdering our citizens with nuclear waste and nerve toxins.
    * Russia is murdering our humanitarian aid workers in Africa.
    * Russia is cutting cables and pipelines.
    * Most of our internet throughput is used by hacking attempts originating from Russia.
    * …

Putin still having ammo dumps filled to the brim means he’s planning to flatten Poland and the Baltic.

  9. think you’re all missing what the messaging has been, with him also saying that Trump doesn’t understand what it takes to win the war etc -his logic is this: Russia won’t want to deal until they feel like they could lose (which makes sense, the people who most want peace are the people in danger) – so when he’s saying victory is closer than we think, or 90% of the way there like he said last week etc, it’s trying to get one more level of western specifically US support imo- he’s saying “if you let us strike Moscow and give them an actual reason to want to end the war, then we can end the war” it’s diplomatic messaging

  10. In Russia everything is fine and dandy.
    Until it is not.
    Ask Lavrentiy Beria

  11. ita terrible ut just means russia won the war the territories they needed and opens the gate to any other nuclear country to do whatever they want and win land in the end

  12. Trump losing the election in November might be the thing that’s needed to convince Putin that he can never win. So let’s all get together and do whatever is necessary to ensure that Trump, and the entire Russia-polluted GOP, loses bigly.

  13. It would only take someone to shoot Putin, and half the problem would be gone. The successor could do what General Secretary of the Soviet Union would do, and eschew everything their predecessor had done, including this invasion.

  14. As an American, I wish we had Zelensky as a president. I’m sure Russians are wishing he was their president as well.
