25 Sep: Stopped Russian Advances on Pokrovsk, Casualties Reach Record | Russia Ukraine War Update

Hello everyone, from a new video! Ukraine Stopped Russian Advances on the Pokrovsk Front: Russian Casualties Reach Record High! In the ongoing war in Ukraine, the Pokrovsk sector has become a focal point of intense battles. Despite relentless Russian attacks, Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully defended two key areas on this front, dealing a significant blow to Russian military efforts. This update comes from a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign “Mukhnoy,” who shared the details on his Telegram channel, as reported by “Focus.”

In his report, Mukhnoy described a fierce confrontation near the settlements of Novohrodivka and Lisovka, where Russian forces launched a coordinated assault. They deployed armored vehicles and even used civilian cars in a desperate attempt to breach Ukrainian lines. The Russians charged aggressively, targeting not only the village but also surrounding forested areas, likely hoping to outmaneuver Ukrainian defenders.

However, Ukrainian troops demonstrated extraordinary courage and tactical expertise. “Our Cossacks took them all out,” Mukhnoy said. “They brought a lot of equipment, but we managed to handle it. Right now, the enemy’s artillery and aviation are still active, but we’re holding our ground.” The successful defense not only stopped the Russian advance but also resulted in the destruction of significant enemy assets.
Further north, near Tsukuryno, Ukrainian forces managed to halt another Russian advance beyond the railway line. Mukhnoy noted that reinforcements had arrived just in time, allowing Ukrainian soldiers to bolster their defenses. “We managed to stop the enemy north of Tsukuryno. A bit of help arrived, and things are slightly easier now. Meanwhile, the enemy has reached the outskirts of Tsukuryno from the north and east. The village is still under heavy artillery fire,” he reported.

The situation remains precarious, as the Russian military is applying pressure from multiple directions. Mukhnoy also highlighted the use of airstrikes on an abandoned mine southeast of the area, suggesting that Russian forces are attempting to disrupt potential Ukrainian supply routes or hideouts.

Amid these intense battles, Ukrainian forces were forced to make a tactical retreat across the Volchya River after Russian troops captured Zhelannoye Druhoye. The withdrawal was carried out to preserve Ukrainian manpower and regroup for future operations. Mukhnoy’s report indicates that while Ukrainian forces have managed to stave off significant advances, the pressure remains high, and strategic withdrawals are sometimes necessary to maintain overall defense effectiveness.

In a separate development, the UK Ministry of Defense has reported that Russia has suffered its highest daily casualties since the start of the war over the last four months. According to their data, Russian forces have been losing an average of 1,262 soldiers per day—killed or wounded—in May, a slight decrease to 1,163 in June, and 1,140 in July. In August, the average daily losses rose again to 1,187. Projections suggest that September’s figures will continue to exceed 1,000 soldiers per day, as reported by the New York Post on September 24.

British officials attribute May’s record casualties to particularly brutal fighting around the Kharkiv region. These losses were almost four times higher than in March 2022, the first full month following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, when the average daily loss was about 386 soldiers. The data reflects not only the scale of the conflict but also the intensity of battles as both sides struggle for strategic control over key territories.

The British Ministry of Defense estimates that around one million soldiers from both sides have been killed or wounded since the war began in February 2022. This staggering figure underscores the immense human cost of the conflict, which shows no signs of abating. For Russia, over 610,000 casualties have been reported, with the number of soldiers killed approaching 200,000, and around 400,000 wounded. These figures were recently highlighted in an article by the Wall Street Journal, drawing attention to the severe toll the war is taking on Russian forces.

It is God who sustains and upholds the Ukrainian Army for it is He who sees the truth about everything under the Heaven. Our God is a just God but merciful also. He deals with everyone and everything from this perspective – JUSTICE and MERCY. But! it is a Terrible thing to fall into the Hand of God. Glorify God!

  6. 🤣🤣 I dont subscribe to misinfo… either mathematics is not the same with WSJ as in the real world.. if 200K Rus killed and 400K injured. How many are left and keep fighting in that vast large area from advancing in the east to fighting in Kursk? common sense tell me if rus goes under 500k active soldiers they shall use more deadlier bombs and intercontinental rage missiles . They cant allow a weak force unable to handle Nato directly for at least 1 year
