Reform UK conference highlights: Eminem, conspiracy theories and a plan to modernise

Nigel Farage has predicted he can win the next general election at a packed Reform UK conference that announced a new structure for the party and leaned heavily into hard-right tropes and occasional conspiracy theories.

At the gathering – which included repeated attacks on immigration, diversity and green policies, and calls to ‘put British people first’ – Farage promised to professionalise the party and end its status as a company majority-owned by him. Instead, he said, it would become a mass-owned non-profit organisation with significant control by members – although he did not say what this would entail

  1. The October Budget could be the match that lights the fuse…the indigenous people of the UK…as welcoming, kind, compassionate, broad-minded and generous as we are…will only take so much!

  2. Quite plainly Reform is the only party talking rationally about the issues that matter, just as Farage is the only British politician to have said or done anything useful over the last 30 years. Very glad I voted for the first time since 2001, for Reform.

  3. It would be interesting to read the MI6 investigation into Farrage's acquisition of shares in the Russian Alrosa and the financial dependence of this man on the Russian terrorist regime!
