  1. Just another Russian politician, building his own narrative, trying to build his own power base, lying through his teeth.

  2. What? What about 80% of Russians who support the regime and war?

  3. An excited soviet human being who has no arguments, but still believes that he has the only soviet truth.

  4. russian opposition is a joke.

deep down inside most of them also think that Ukraine is not a country.

  5. Russian “civilisation” produce regime after regime but somehow we are supposed to believe it’s just one Russian who is responsible for misanthropic actions? From Ivan IV to Putin, nothing changes. War after war, Russia doesn’t change. Empire, to socialist republic, to federation, when will Russia be normal?

  6. All russians are the same, all russians that I know here in Sweden support putin and all we swedes make sure to tell them that nobody wants them here followed by ”Slava Ukraini”

  7. That guy in Tokyo is a dead cert for deportation. It would be hard to find a clearer picture of an immigrant with intent to work and act against the country and culture in which he resides. Send him home as he loves it so much.

  8. It is great that people took a video and share it – harassing local people in their own country expressing their right to free speech and protest.
Nobody likes you, nobody wants you in their country Ruzzian.

  9. Kara-Murza is correct: the sanctions on Russia are causing some problems for ordinary Russians. But I can’t recall ever hearing of a sanctions regime that was so cleverly targeted that it hurt **only** the political elite of the sanctioned country, and I don’t see how such a thing would be possible. Maybe Kara-Murza is smart enough to know how to create such a magical system, but I suspect he said what he did in this press conference partly because he has political ambitions, and he wanted to go on record as defending ordinary Russians. I imagine it might also be the case that he hasn’t yet fully accepted that the problem with Russia isn’t just Putin and his minions; Russian society as a whole is rotten and depraved.

  10. I could watch Russia vanish from the face of the earth and not have a flicker of emotion at this point.

  11. A typical inflammatory post, working to rally around Putin. Putin approves.

  12. There is a great saying that I cannot exactly remember. It refers to the rise of the Nazis in Germany.

“The silent approval of the many is more dangerous than the evil acts of the few.”

  13. Since the conquest of Poland, 300,000 Jews have been murdered in this country in the most bestial way … The German people slumber on in dull, stupid sleep and encourage the fascist criminals. Each wants to be exonerated of guilt, each one continues on his way with the most placid, calm conscience. But he cannot be exonerated; he is guilty, guilty, guilty!

    — 2nd leaflet of the White Rose (German anti-Nazi movement whose members were eventually executed when they were exposed)

  14. Did that guy really use the word “unfair “? FFS, do they even understand the concept in Russia? Listening to a Russian complaining about fairness is like listening to an ISIS spokesperson complaining about the price of a pint and a bacon sandwich.

  15. Let’s get one thing straight – you’re ruzzians – that’s all you ever were and all you ever will be – and that’s nothing!

  16. This guy was an idiot for going back in the first place against al advice and now is even more idiotic. All goodwill gone. Fuck this guy.

  17. russia has been a net drain on the world ever since it was founded. It needs to be relegated to the trash compactor of history.

  18. In Germany it’s the same.

If you walk with an Ukrainian flag or one of Israel you risk your life.

If you have a russian or a palestinian one it’s ok.

but to be honest, the most risky to be carried is the Israeli one.

  19. Idk how people who even a bit aware of Russian history can beleive in “good Russian people”. Since its appearance as Muscovy in the 14th century Russia was always the same – lie and tyranny inside combined with constant genocidal wars outside. There are literally hundreds of nations and cultures from Europe to the East Asia, from Caucasus to the North Pole wiped out by Muscovy, with their heritage stolen or destroyed and their languages forbidden and forgoten. This country was always cancer and to beleive that deep down it has something good and will suddenly change and become peaceful is as delusional as to beleive that cancer will heal itself. Russia simply can’t exist outside of its way of life – either it’ll continue as it always was or it will dissapear.

  20. Yashin .. The same politician that somehow had full access to social media.. from inside(!!) of Russian prison, and was posting regularly. At the same time as real(!) political prisoners in Russia hardly have access even to their own lawyer.
    Wonder why

  21. This post has been likely created by Russia Putin trolls and serves his goal to diminish the standing of Russian opposition to his regime and to compromise Ukraine in the eyes of the West.

If you want victory for Ukraine, don’t let yourself be duped!

  22. Ive met a few russians in my life… some were nice people, the majority wasnt.

I have hope for the younger Generation, but i bet this was said too… 30 years ago… look what that turned out to.

I do not want to condem all russians, i dont know all. But honestly, i have little hope and little empathy they ever become decent human beings on a broad scale.

  23. And then some people ask us, Poles, why we have only 10k Russians in Poland, and why we are not keen to have more? That’s why.

  24. Here’s some information about “so called’ Russian opposition leader Vladimir Kara-Mirza.

In 2012, he was elected deputy of the Freedom Russia Party.

In 2022, he was charged with discrediting the military. In 2023, he was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

In 2024, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for commentary, for the columns which he continued to write from his prison cell. He was released in 2024 in a prisoner exchange.

He was a protégé of Boris Nemestov, who was assassinated by Putin, and later made a documentary film about him” and another about the history of dissent in Russia.

Have those of you who are trashing this guy done anything remotely this significant with your lives? Sacrificed your freedom for what you believe in?
Did you really just swallow iwhole what this video fed you about the “so called opposition” because of what  some a nobody did in Tokyo.

This info comes from Wikipedia. It’s not difficult to find.

  25. That’s literally one dude out of the millions who are russian

  26. If you have paid any attention to what Kara Murza says you would know he is extremely anti-Putin and pro Ukrainian. This is a bullshit misrepresentation
