Crossbar SuperValu is stupidly overpriced for anything with sugar in it. A wee bottle of coke is like £1.90 there. Madness
Coke never reformulated their original variety (unlike Pepsi who reduced sugar in their original variety without telling anyone and added sweetener to soften the price hikes).
All full sugar beverages are taxed 24p a litre of drink if it contains 8 grams of sugar per 100 millilitres or more.
>A 1.75 liter bottle of Coca-Cola Original Taste contains 10.6 grams of sugar per 100 milliliters, or 53 grams of sugar in a 500 milliliter bottle.
