  1. Is this a first batch of 8 ?

And the total of F-16’s will be 24?

Impressive if so, Thank you Netherlands 🙏

  2. follow on e.g. https://globe.adsbexchange.com/

A little late start it seems.

13:40: a Belgian F-16 (FB-15, callsign BAF-341) apparently as a guest is flying around Limburg

13:46: ahh, it begins, J-062 (callsign FINAL) just started

13:48: J-013 (VIPER), J-008 (FLIGHT), J-515 (312) and J-006 (SONS) have followed, not more though. The final Viper flight of the 312th squadron.

13:50: they are making a turn over the LuitnantGeneraal Bestkazerne towards Nijmegen now. The Belgian F-16 is at Nijmegen now.

13:53: The Belgian plane has caught up with the pack now over Nijmegen. Continuing northeast bound for Twente.

14:01: they have reached the Vliegfeld Twente north of Enschede, now turning north. Flight altitude about 1800 ft at about 300 knots.

14:11: the six jets have reached Groningen Eelde airport, now going for Leeuwarden.

14:15: no, halfway between Groningen and Leeuwarden they have taken a turn and are now flying straight south. DEviation from flight plan!

14:16: this slipped my attention, J-641 (OF) and J-512 (BONZO) have started at Volkel and are speeding to catch up to them. This completes the Sons of Bonzo (the nickname of the 312th, named after a former unit’s mascot dog at Volkel AB)

14:23 they have merged above Hoogeveen.

14:25: a pack of four Belgian F-16 (DEVIL21/22/23/24) has started as Kleine Brogel, maybe just accompanying an ACAWS starting from Geilenkirchen just now, but maybe they will also join the celebration later?

14:28: Our pack of meanwhile 8 F-16 has continued further south (they are not at Rijssen), so it seems Leeuwarden and Vieland won’t see them unfortunately, they also past the Air Operations Control Station te Nieuw Milligen out of sight. Going now in the direction of Nijmegen again.

14:33: the AWACS is going up high towards the North Sea, and the four Belgian F-16 are staying in Belgium. So not our business.

14:39: the 8 F-16 are now over s’Hertogenbosch. No idea what the plan is.
