Such an underrated little town
Lived there from 1996 – 1998 working at Morrisons supermarket. Quite enjoyed my time there but found it to be an expensive place to live.
Looks beautiful, like a mini Royal Mile, Edinburgh!
If you go again, look for Barn Hill, George Hotel, Browne’s Hospital, St George’s church … so much to see and appreciate!
Pedestrian more streets like this. Bring the high street back to life.

Hah, literally my home town, if you’re back head down to the meadows (not now, they’re underwater) or Burghley House, it’s a pretty town not without its annoyances
