Looking for someone to repair our oven that looks to be from the 90s? I've included a picture of the part that needs replacing, any recommendations on where to find a reliable person to repair it (or where to get the part, long shot I think) in Larnaca would so be appreciated! I'd love to just have it replaced, but my landlord is determined to have it fixed.

  1. Have your landlord fix it. If you dont hear from them, buy a new one, replace it and take it out of the rent.

This probably burns so much electricity….

  2. We recently replaced exactly this. It costed around €300 to replace for the new one (the price for device and the installation). If you decide to fix it, mind the cost of the new one.

  3. it may be worth to simply replace it for a new one if the cost to repair is too high. speak to a specilized repair shop and ask for your options and from there you can weight your options and see what you can do. i bought from jermino they have a shop in larnaca and paralimni as far as i know. i personally have experience with paralimni branch. their response and service was pretty good i have no complaints whatsoever and their price is reasonable. you can call the larnace shop and ask for a quote first to get it repaired – if the cost is too high it may be worth to replace it instead. just show your landlord all the pricing options (get it repaired vs buying a new one) and let them decide what they want to do

  4. lil bro buy a new one, 1. might be cheaper than fixing, 2. this old toaster is not compared to the energy efficiency of a new one

  5. there is a shop in nicosia who is dealing with that kind of things M.K. Repairs PCB Board you can take it there and ask him how much it could cost or send him photo to tell you if is possible to be fixed from . i dont thing worth buying it(from searching around new part is 100pounds so in euro is more expensive plus the shipping ) but if it cost fixing it for under 50euro proceed . there are new oven 239 euro and more energy efficient fixing a 20 years oven must aint worth it most probably something else will break the fan or the element.
