I’m an ashamed American (USA) asking if anyone works for a Finnish airport or has traveled recently that can let me know if my nicotine juice will really be confiscated? I have read the limitation of 10mL and 20mg/mL max, and unfortunately my juice bottle is more than that. We are traveling from USA to Germany to Finland. Not sure what to expect at the airports. This will be our first time to Europe. Really looking forward to it! I will survive with nicotine gum if needed. But I was wondering how strict the airport staff is with this. Also I am happy to hear any general tips not related to stupid nicotine!

If you fly in from Germany, just take the green line. There is no-one checking your stuff, even if you want to show it to them. Green line and red line at Helsinki airport are just divided by a movable pole, and the red line lane has automatic buzzer if someone for some reason wants to go thru it. I’ve seen lost foreigners walk thru the red line and no-one came to check or catch them.
TL;DR: there isn’t border control between EU countries.
Not sure about that, I doubt they will care. Finland has many different nicotine gums/tablets/sprays available in the pharmacies at prices much lower than the US – you might want to check them out.
