  1. Great so Rodri being out means Lewis moves up to midfield and Walker starts for the rest of the season?

  2. Interesting line up, Pep already trying new things, he will need to figure out a new system and soon if we want to win the league this season

  3. Our answer to solving the rodri absence is to play controlling wingers and controlling midfield. We had the false 9 era, now we’re in the false 6 era. Everyone’s a DM!

  4. It’s a very defensive lineup. We need at least one of Savinho or Doku.

What’s going on with Foden?? He needs to be starting games now

  5. Where’s the threat 💀

Rationale behind this is probably that Pep is afraid of transitions

Not a fan of extreme risk averseness

  6. Lewis in Rodri role in tandem with Kova. Exciting subs but I expect Gundo and Berna to assist Big Erl in finishing this.

  7. This lineup just screams „few direct attacking plays and a lot of static football and sidepasses“.
Can‘t wait to see what Pep comes up with at halftime after we concede a stupid goal as per usual

  8. Pep knows best but this line up leaves a lot to be desired on the surface . Can’t see Haaland getting any supply today and looks like it’s going to be an ugly game . Need to make sure we don’t concede first as I can see it being a frustrating afternoon. Foden, Savio, Doku on bench with KDB still out leaves us very short on creativity .
Like I said Pep knows best though

  9. Walker is starting cos trippier is starting for Newcastle

Even the playing field. Both are old and shit

  10. Looks like we’re playing haram ball today. Should have started Foden over Gundo even though he wasn’t good against Fulham, but Gundo hasn’t been good either.

  11. Looking like Haaland is going to struggle for any service. Thankfully Isak is out so Walker will only be mildly rinsed.

  12. What exactly was Foden’s “illness”? Does anyone know? Did he have Ebola? How the hell is he not starting by now?

  13. I love Gundo, but I was worried that him coming back would really affect Foden’s minutes, and it seems this is the case. He has now started the last 3 premier league games in a row, while Foden has yet to start a single game, and it’s October. I know Foden was sick but come on, at this point he needs to be starting games, he’s clearly fit seeing as he played 90 in the EFL as a false 9. I just want midfield Foden again 🙁
