  1. Here's what the world (still) gets wrong about Russian wars: they are not Putin's. It's simple and easy to call this and Ukraine "Putin's war". Only its not. It's not Putin who wanted to take that old lady's house. It's not Putin who feels comfortable snatching people on the occupied territory. It's not Putin who shot the man trying to go to the church. It's not Putin who fires missiles at Ukrainians. It's Russians. Russian people are Putin (with exceptions that are so few and far between, they might as well not count at all). And this is exactly why Russia, much like Nazi Germany, needs to be condemned and isolated, and its people must not benefit from the presumption of innocence and be treated as guilty unless proven otherwise. Because the vast overwhelming majority of them are guilty by complicity.

  2. Hungary has the same "foreign agent" laws, I'm a bit disappointed that you have not mentioned it and not included it on the map in the visualization.

  3. Like the Ukraine war, the Georgia war and Russia’s invasion into Georgia was indeed provoked by US. The Russians don’t just “feel” NATO expansion as a threat, it is a threat as was repeatedly stated by US warmongers who absolutely want regime change in Russia. Their plan is to destroy the Russian Federation and split it into many parts. wherever there are old conflicts to dig out, the West is trying to incite more uprising. They promise prosperity by breaking away from Russia, but the results can be seen in Ukraine where BlackRock has acquired capital control over 40 percent of the country’s agricultural lands. It’s about American world hegemony.

  4. Beautiful documentary, great work! And a big hug for all those beautiful Georgians. As a Dutchy, I hope we can welcome you one day into the EU. My heart aches for people that live under the threat of being usurped by this tyrannical Russian empire, while here there are people that are unironically pro-Russian, ungrateful for everything that the West has brought them (but of course, not willing to move to Russia themselves).

  5. Another history falsification: it was Georgia not Russia who started this war by marching into Russia, to be then beaten back. And they were actively incited by American politicians, including Lindsey Graham and the late senator from Arizona John McCain, the biggest proponent of Cold War for ever.

  6. At least the people there are mostly united even though the government clearly has issues. When they are united it helps to keep their hope. Not looking so great for hungary sadly. Even though we do not face such serious threats the country is divided and we fight against each other. It's like the soviet era brainwashed the people and so they believe everything the government says, ignoring the facts and everything. Georgians has the courage to push back such laws. We can't even do that. I hope for the best for them.

  7. So this will be the future of Canada if we keep electing the extreme left.

Canada is already being invaded by India, China, Iran, Ukraine, and they are pushing laws to keep the born in Canada citizens quiet.

    Some tyranical BS for sure.

  8. That’s one side of the story. The other is that a country can’t have its security by infringing its neighbors security. The thing is that NATO (US) has been moving East adding ex URSS republics to the organization Russia sees this as a treat to its security.

  9. I'm sorry but wer you on the other side? In South Ossetia? Tolk with ossetians.
I'm not talking that you or georgians are wrong. I think that national conflict is old and occupation is part of the "game"… Cruel game. And price is many lifes. Unfortunately.

  10. The history part is absolutely incorrect: The territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia where already independent in 2008, after a war in start 1990' where Russia nearly didn't participate. In 2008 Georgian troops tried to take these regions back and started to shoot at the capital of South Ossetia (which is proved by independet international observers) and Russia chosed to stand with South Ossetia and then, only then, invaded Georgia.
Please do MORE research on your themes, and don't just throw some random facts in without any context.

  11. Like, if they are good with Russia, their economy is good, but they kind of losing sovereignty. If they try to have pro-western way, they might lose both: economy and sovereignty. Because nobody will come to fight for them if something awful starts, look at the Ukraine case. Georgia is 10x time smaller and Russia already controls 20% of their territory. I believe, Georgian government received some kind of 'if you don't do this and that, you country will be occupied', and they just do what they can to save the sovereignty.

  12. So, Russia has historically used geographic points to protect itself.
    They’re pretty obvious once observed.
Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia historically protected from the Persians and Arabs who also have a historical history of conquests.
Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Krygzstan along with the Himalayas protected from the mongol and Chinese dynasties.
Poland east to control the Baltic and protect against the European “tribes” – Germanic, Viking, Anglo-Saxon, French.

History isn’t always straight forward but these points are historical and actually worked to a certain degree.
So since the early 90’s old guard Russians like Putin are butt hurt because they feel vulnerable.
They also lost a lot of oil production and resources with the loss of control over these regions.
Eastern Europe is just full of food, and all those other locations are full of oil and resources.

It’s not right but the logic is comprehensible.

  13. A lot of countries have similar laws passed, US included. However the devil is in the detail so yeah … similar.
Georgia is such a strategic geolocation that everyone with interest will always want to have some influence over it.
A law only purpose should be to enlighten those intentions of other nations.

    Fight for transparency!

  14. Nice propaganda.. How about acknowledging the fact that Georgian 2008 government tried starting a war against Russia at the request of western leaders? Current Georgian prime minister acknowledged it just recently… Its what West does.. Trying to destabilize countries around Russia to force its hand, then y'all be crying about bad evil Russia/Putin… Ukraine is a prime example, corrupt government chose western money over its own people and allowed the bloodshed

  15. Seems like an awesome time to retake territory. Those bases are laughable… especially when you know they aren't backed by the full force of Russian military. Maybe take a luttle more for compensation.
