Either 2 or all of these players need to be in lineup against a low block

The way we got the equalizer against Arsenal was from attacking the outside. It took pep too long to get doku, savinho and foden on. The difference in created chances and space is noticeable when they’re on the pitch.

Pep would rather wait till the 85th minute to use these players
Honestly he needs to start doku foden and nunes and savhino like pep needs to stop overthinking it’s fucking stressful we dropped points again and again and again
Savinho on the right, Bernardo in the center. If we had played the 90 minutes like we did the last 15, we would have won. This was on us; Newcastle did well.
I don’t think so if Pep didn’t play gundo, grealish and bernado from the start, we would have lost the game
2 is perfect. 3 maybe too risky, but even 3 is better than 1 or 0.
Gundo didn’t perform well Bad passes
Phil and Savinho need to be in every single game at this point. Still not 100% sold on Doku over Jack. Depends on the game.

If you think Pep Guardiola will start the 3 least control players we have all at the same time, I’m sorry but you just don’t get what Pep wants out of a football lineup

Honestly think every team is going to employ this strategy against us. We are absolutely clueless on how to dismantle these teams and I really think it’s because of Haaland (especially todays game, and the arsenal game)
In all honesty, we had no trouble against parked buses when Aguero played or when we had a false 9, cause aguero and our false 9 (it was foden for most of the 2020/21 season) would come back to midfield to help in the buildup.
Haaland doesn’t do that, but he keeps the centre backs really busy. If we can get a midfielder to push up just behind Haaland, maybe Foden or Grealish can play there. I’m still not convinced our problems lie in the attack, to me they lie in midfield and being able to give haaland and doku good passes (heck even gvardiol makes his way forward like a striker)
