I miss it when I'm not there.

  1. I lived right next to Bournemouth beach for a couple of years and it was the best thing ever. Going for a walk along the coast, sitting and listening to the waves, even going for a dip on that one day of the year when it was sunny. I miss it sm 🥹

  2. humans have always been drawn to boundaries. Rivers, mountains, seas.

  3. From Cayton bay to Porthmadog. Sitting on the sand as dawn breaks is the favourite experience of every holiday I’ve ever had as an adult. The serenity of an empty beach at dawn is unmatched.

I completely agree with you op.

  4. Went for a dip in the sea this morning then warmed up in the sun with a coffee. Perfect start to the weekend.

  5. I used to live in Lynton, North Devon, way back in the 80s, and would literally spend hours sitting on one of the benches along the cliff walk from Lynton to the Valley of the Rocks.
Listening to the waves crashing into the cliff face a couple of hundred foot below, or watching storms, and squalls coming up the Bristol Channel blotting out the lights from the South Wales coastline.

Great memories indeed. If you ever get a chance, take it with both hands open.
It’s something you will never forget

  6. I love being near the sea, recharges my batteries. Completely agree.
