Mexico blames US amid surge in cartel violence in Sinaloa • FRANCE 24 English
Local officials are warning that the gruesome violence between rival factions of a feared drugs cartel in western Mexico shows no signs of abating. At least 50 people have been killed, with a similar number missing, following shootouts between gang members loyal to El Chapo, and his sons, and others aligned with a rival who’s been detained in the United States. FRANCE 24’s Laurent Bertescher reports.

Chinese officials encourage production of precursor chemicals by giving "monetary grants and awards to companies openly trafficking illicit fentanyl material.
Of course the US is to blame. Americans are the world largest buyers and users of illicit drugs. Without the market for drugs there would be no cartels.
Need to blame themselves
I don’t think another country could enter US and kidnapped US citizens and brought the person to their country then US should have done that. It’s wrong and illegal.
OK. Well what do you want us to do about it?

The Biden/Harris Administration is so weak and fragile even Mexico is picking on them.
Mexico has been diligently working for six years to reduce organized crime and has made significant strides in maintaining control over the situation. It is important to note that the violence associated with organized crime is concentrated in specific areas, indicating that while challenges remain, progress has been made.
However, part of the responsibility for the violence in Mexico lies with the United States. In Mexico, citizens do not have the ability to legally purchase firearms; instead, weapons are often smuggled from the U.S. This raises critical questions about the U.S. government's role in addressing its own issues related to drug trafficking and arms proliferation. The lack of action to resolve these pressing problems exacerbates the challenges faced by Mexico in its fight against organized crime.
As such, a comprehensive approach that includes collaboration between nations is essential to effectively tackle the root causes of violence and improve security for all citizens.
