How have we got a starting 12 and David Silva still ends up shunted out wide left? I could probably count on one hand the amount of times he played there.

Although Aguero is obviously the most iconic and complete and decisive, numbers say Haaland is the best. Striker’s main job is to score goals and Haaland already scored 38% of Aguero’s goals in just 27% of Aguero’s appearances. Or in terms of goals to appearances ratio, Haaland has 0.94 G/A, Aguero has 0.66 G/A. Even with assists, Aguero has 0.83 goal involvements per game, while Haaland has 1.08. And unless he has some career ending injury, he’ll only get better in qualities he lacks in compared to Aguero.
Agüero, if anyone genuinely thinks it should be anyone else then they need to give their head a wobble.
