[OC] My weight gain and my weight loss due to COVID-19. I used my historic average for the x-Axis, so it is the difference in pounds from my historic average. I gained weight because I primarily swim for exercise and pools were closed, but also because gourmet cooking was my COVID hobby

  1. Data was self sourced via home digital scale weigh-ins in pounds. I used monthly averages for weight, and did a polynomial best fit (excel 6 factors). Designed with Excel/PowerPoint. Used Pantone color of the year 2019 as the background.

  2. Did you begin trying to lose weight in April 2023 or was there a change in circumstance that drove the weight loss?

  3. Would be nice to see raw data points. Or individual data points with error bars to show the variation within your months average.

  4. This always amazes me. So many gain weight during covid, but why. I understand you probably had less exercise and moved less. But what stopped you from eating less too, u weight remains the same if you level your calorie consumption with intake. It’s not rocket science.
