The article and the event reported about are two weeks old.
But even then it was quite somehow late for “reciprocity”. From the website of the Russian ministry of foreign affairs: “Using Meta’s software products
*On March 21, 2022, the Tverskoy District Court in Moscow ruled that Meta Platforms Inc., a US-based transnational holding company, under the pretence of engaging in business undertakings with social media services Facebook and Instagram, has been distributing materials on the territory of the Russian Federation containing calls to subject Russian citizens to violent extremist actions, violating their rights and threatening the constitutional form of government in the Russian Federation. …”
AFAIK since then Meta et al have to be marked with an asterisk when reporting about and explaining that they are “extremist”.
“… This remedial action does not restrict the use of Meta’s software products by individuals and entities who do not engage in unlawful activity. …”
So Solovyov, Ska(ra)beyeva, Margarita, RT whatever, RIA were still allowed to use Facebook, because unlawful … from a Russian point of view of course.
“…(from a reasoned decision by the Tverskoy District Court in Case No. 02-2473/2022)”
The reasoning was as usual that the public prosecutor has brought this to some court in Russia and the judge did not contradict or question anything, probably because lunch/end of working day was nigh. Only because one of the first courts observed to work this way, it is called “Basmanny Justice” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basmanny_Justice
