What’s happening with Indian and Bumi Males?
1. Are those ethnic groups in a lower SES strata? I’m guessing that’s part of it.
2. Do they work more physically demanding jobs?
3. Or is there some conflict going on in Malaysia? Is there some regional violence or maybe just a high crime rate in some areas?
4. Are men smoking and drinking at higher rates?
5. Is this partly due to suicide rate?

I wonder what happened to the Bumi around 1998? There’s a dip in the graphs of both men and women that is not there for other ethnicities.
