For October's r/Ukraine community event, we're fundraising for the #1 item that has been requested by units we work with for several months now: Drone Jammers.
The ability to defeat drone signals is one of the most powerful defensive tools available at the front, and they continue to save many Ukrainian lives each and every single day. However, by their nature these devices are highly specialized and cannot be feasibly purchased off the shelf; in fact, we're not at liberty to tell you much about the devices themselves nor the folks that are making them.
Drone jammers are an arms race unto themselves, with innovations occurring on a daily, sometimes hourly basis. All this makes these items more expensive than your typical drone or medical device – and they require careful maintenance and need to be upgraded or replaced often.
This month, in collaboration with Ukraine Front Line, we're targeting an ambitious goal of $5k in order to purchase drone jammers. As always, we will provide receipts (some info will be redacted in this case), and evidence once the items arrive at their units.
