Went to the Lake District for the first time this summer… loved it!

Went here at the end of August and got pretty lucky with the weather with only 1 rainy day. Highlight of the trip was definitely going up Helvellyn via Striding Edge. Close second was Cat Bells’s view of Keswick.

My favourite bits (Wastwater and Eskdale) are further round the west coast.
