  1. The pledge has not been broken. As the article admit, there was no timescale on the manifesto pledge, and Labour government remains committed to ending the use of hotels to house asylum seekers. The timescale is simply extended because the asylum backlog will take longer to clear than Labour thought.

    This is actually the fault of previous Tory governments for allowing such a backlog of claims to build up, of course.

  2. Should of kept the Rwanda plan. At least that was doing something about it. Starmer says they wasted £700m but it didnt even get off the ground because he canned it straight away, and now there doesnt seem to be any plan at all again. Honestly its infuriating this lot

  3. Why do we have so many claims anyway? WTF wants to live in this country? It’s totally knackered. We have the worst quality of life in Western Europe.
    We’re all tired, overworked, overwhelmed, and underpaid.

    I’m amazed that there aren’t gangs of British people, on the south coast beaches, waiting to grab the migrant boats and row them to France to claim asylum.
