Good start. Rutte is very good at ignoring russian preferences, an absolute requirement for any NATO Secretary General to do the job.
Unbelievable as it may sound, there are still people in NATO member states who give a flying (beep) about what russia prefers. I know, it’s mindblowing.
Those people will eventually learn to dismiss all “legitimate security interests” russia believes it has. That means exactly all those that are outside russia’s internationally recognized borders.
