Why wasn’t Lloyds the one paying the £1m?
“Settles £1m civil case” does not mean “settles for £1m”, before anyone pops off. The settlement will be for a lesser amount than that claimed.
They could have killed the guy and some people would still defend the Met.
I remember seeing this guys story on the news a couple years ago. Look, mistakes happen but in what world is a normal employed middle class man arrested with an almost two year investigation ongoing, where the police also investigate family members which finds absolutely nothing, a normal arrest?
Clue – it isn’t. There is definitely something not adding up here, and it reads as malicious
