Russia Reaches Another Ukrainian Town, Zelensky Ready For Fall Push, New NATO Chief Takes On Putin

Russian troops have entered the embattled town of Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast, Governor Vadym Filashkin said on Oct. 1. Filashkin described the situation as “extremely difficult,” saying that, “the enemy has already almost reached the center of the town.” A total of 107 civilians remain in Vuhledar, though all children have been evacuated, Filashkin said. President Zelensky called the situation at the front lines “very challenging” and emphasised that Ukraine must achieve all it can this fall. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has announced significant changes within the ministry. Russian President Putin ordered the conscription of 133,000 new servicemen in Russia’s autumn draft, starting Oct. 1 and lasting until the end of the year.

It’s puzzling fact that NATO is a supposed defensive alliance which hasn’t been attacked by Russian with any weapons but NATO wants the right tell Russia not defend itself with nuclear threats if NATO supplies a non-member country to attack Russia with long range missiles. What’s the definition of a Defensive Alliance here?

Since 1945 while Russia was busy saving the world and Europe from Nazi Germany, the British were plotting a sinister move to attack the Russians from the back. They are obsessed with Russia and the insanity is growing like wildfire when they created NATO and refused to dismantle it even when Soviet collapsed.

  38. Ukraine is not a NATO member Nation.Why cant NATO nation broker peace? This war is started by NATO and USA.Well there was a democratically elected Government in Ukraine leaning towards Russia and their was relative peace.Who changed that Government? It was USA and NATO.Now these USA and NATO leaders are talking through their teeth of the importance of a democratic government in Ukraine.The West approach is if a democratic government is not leaning towards West, its an enemy.I just simply cannot fathom the hypocrisy of the West
