Sure, gas was temporarily cheap- because nobody was buying any! We were all huddled in our homes, scared to go anywhere because of Covid, which Trump completely mismanaged. Also, toilet paper and paper towels were hard to get. Has everyone forgotten what it was like?
Inflation trails Fed policy by 2 years and oh boy was secretary powell printing money in an attempt to save the economy and Trump.

And if trump carries out his promised mass deportations this will happen again

I have seen some audacious and disingenuous memes comparing 2020 prices with 2024 prices, not taking into account post-covid effects, inflation, shrinkflation, and everything that has happened since. Additionally, I thought conservatives were in favor of capitalism, and now they want someone to protect us from it?
