This is great. Russia and Iran have cast a large shadow over the entire region for far too long.
good strikes, hopefully some s400 and s500 blew up aswell.
It’s adorable that the Iranians really thought their stuff would be safe landing on a Russian/Syrian base. I can just imagine some IDF personnel monitoring the cargo plane(s) being near dumbfounded watching them land at the base.
War with Iran will mean hitting Russian assets.
If I read the news correctly, the Hezbollah struck Beirut three times a few hours ago themselves. And unlike some Western nations, Israel doesn’t have the same reputation to maintain when they know who’s *really* pulling the strings in the escalation between Israel and Iran.
Israel knows who’s really pulling the strings in their war, (and we all do) and they don’t play by Western rules of extending red lines.
And they won’t want to be one-upped by Ukraine when it comes to hitting their enemies. If anything it’ll become a challenge of who can punch Russia harder.
If anybody’s going to be fighting on two fronts, it’s Russia.
This is why you don’t side with Iran.
Good Russians have been giving technology and weapons to Iran that found their way to the hands of RSyrians, Palestinian, Yemenis. So it is time to reduce that influence on the region.
As someone with a limited understanding of Israeli foreign relations, aren’t there a lot of Russian jews in Israel, or at least a lot of jews with Russian ancestry?

If war with Iran is what it takes for Israel to make an assist for Ukraine, I will take it. Hope they also hit all the Iranian missile and drone factories. What’s bad for Iran is bad for Russia and vice versa.
