1. It is hard to dodge pagers, walkie talkie and bombs at the same time.

2. It looks like we are seeing a shift in Israeli regional policy in real time. Used to be you’d see Israel get attacked and they’d respond like in 1982 or 2006. Then they’d sit back and do nothing until people like Hezbollah hit them again.

   Now they seem to think being preemptive is the best move to prevent giving these groups a chance to rest and recover.
