Denying people the right to end their lives is “cruel”, Ed Miliband has said after it was announced that MPs will be given the chance to vote to liberalise assisted dying legislation within weeks.
A bill to introduce a legal assisted dying process to Britain will be tabled this month and Sir Keir Starmer has promised to give time for it to become law if MPs vote to back it.
