A series of blasts hit Beirut’s southern suburbs late Thursday night as Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency reported more than 10 consecutive airstrikes in the area.

Explosions were seen near Beirut’s main airport but did not appear to occur within its confines. The strikes came after Israeli military ordered civilians near two buildings in Dahiyeh, in the southern suburb of Beirut, to evacuate immediately ahead of airstrikes
