What’s a city in your country that could be beautiful without its residents?

  1. Stavanger and Trondheim are good candidates.

Bergen and Tromsø are beautiful as they are.

Oslo could maybe be beautiful if you removed all the residents, tore down all the buildings and rebuilt it. Maybe it would also have to be relocated.

  2. I can’t say Barcelona because after all the residents are gone, the city is still ~~infested~~ filled with tourists.

  3. In Italy we say “Vesuvio lavali col fuco” so it has to be Naples. But personally I don’t think I can give up on the cucina Napoletana, so I need my Ciros around.

  4. Mi mother used to say “Qué bonita está Sevilla sin sevillanos” in August when everyone was in the beach but not anymore, our hometown is always full of people now.

  5. Oxford and Cambridge. Lincoln and Norwich were also a lot nicer than I was expecting as well.
